Introduction to the 52 Moves of Nia and tuning your sensation IQ
Welcome your body to Nia, a sensory based movement practice that draws from the dance arts, the martial arts and healing arts! This 2-hour workshop/playshop is designed for those who are new and even not-so-new to Nia. The first half we explore the FUNdamentals of Nia and Nia’s 52 Moves, designed to experience the five sensations (flexibility, agility, mobility, strength and stability) – plus an introduction to FreeDance. The second part is the Nia Class Experience – we will tap into our Sensory IQ and experience the Joy of Movement!
This workshop is designed for everyBODY, regardless of fitness and age levels – as long as you can move, you can dance!
