Join Sinnamon for a Vinyasa class + balancing workshop. In light of recent mass shootings, let’s come together as a community and raise money to help prevent gun violence. All proceeds will go to sandyhookpromise.org. We will begin with a Loving Kindness meditation, connecting us to those in our world that are in need of our love and support, followed by an hour of vinyasa practice and end with an exploration of vinyasa balancing asanas. Poses common to a vinyasa class such as Bakasana (Crow Pose), Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand), Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Balance), Natarajasana (Dancer’s Pose), Hasta Padangusthasana (Extended Hand to Big Toe Pose) will be taught. We will gain a better understanding of alignment and mechanics of poses by breaking them down step by step. Dialogue and questions will be part of the process. All levels welcome!
