Nia Introductory Workshop with Whitney Bennett
The Nia Technique is healing fitness for body, mind, spirit and emotions. Nia draws from the wisdom of dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts like yoga. With rhythmic movement and music, Nia makes fitness fun and healing! Led by dedicated, passionate teachers, and steeped in community building, Nia is so much more than a workout. Nia opens pathways to health, happiness, healing and joy!
In this Workshop, you will:
-Discover Nia’s key principles and 52 moves so that you begin to feel at home in your body
-Enjoy easy-to-learn moves for fun in an inviting and accepting community
-Reconnect to your inner child so that you learn to play again
-Experience the healing power of dance so that you feel better than before.
All levels of fitness are welcome, and no experience is necessary. Class is taken barefoot. Bring a water bottle and a towel.
